Job Detail: Solar Photovoltaic Installers

Gross Salary: Euro: 1800-2400 

Job Summary:

Responsible for the handling of tools related to the design and development of photovoltaic electrical
projects, such as power systems and the performance of electrical and photovoltaic calculations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installation and configuration of MODBUS/TCP control gateway monitoring system.
• Responsible to manage the development of photovoltaic solar energy projects.
• Drafting and execution of LV, MV, and HV electrical projects for solar photovoltaic projects.
• Assembling and installing solar panels on roofs and other structures.
• Configures PV systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations; connect panels to the power grid.
• Following building standards and codes when installing panels and support structures.
• Inspecting electrical installation and wiring.
• Testing operating voltages; calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power limits.
• Ensuring that equipment is weather sealed.
• Performing routine maintenance on PV systems.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read building plans.
• Ability to read equipment manuals.
• Ability to use hand and power tools to install PV panels.

Education and Experience:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Vocational or technical school training is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred in the same position.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to work at great heights.
• Prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds at a time.
