Job Detail: Head Host

We, for our client based in Doha, Qatar, are hiring a Head Hostess who would be responsible for coordinating the team of hostesses making sure the delivery of top quality service to guests.

• Providing support to other areas of the restaurant as necessary, such as setup, cleanup, as well as guest and table assistance.
• Greeting customers and escorting them to the tables;
• Informing customers about the wait time
• Monitoring seating, ensuring the tables are cleaned after every service, monitoring the work of the host/hostess.
• Managing the schedule of reservations and distribution among servers.
• Coordinating with Kitchen for Daily Briefing, including Guest allergies, special requests, and wait times.
• Accepting reservations made through phone calls
• Greeting customers upon departure.

• Team Leader.
• Friendly demeanour and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
• Resolving customer complaints amicably.
• Referring complaints beyond provided power to the appropriate supervisor.
• Supervision of the overall service delivery
• Bachelor in Hotel and Restaurants or equivalent 
• Proficient in the English language
• Computer literate
